Hi I’m Hanna!
I witnessed my first birth in 2011 as a birth photographer, and over the next decade I grew into an award-winning birth photographer and became a doula in 2020. I witnessed more than 100 births along the way across four states and even attended two births while living in England!
So when I say I know birth, I mean I know the on-call life, the birth high after watching a baby join us earthside, the mama bear instinct to advocate hard when I see something happening in a birth that doesn't feel right, and the intuitive pull to stay close and quiet, allowing birth to lead the way without interfering.
When I stepped away from birth work in 2023, it was hard. But there was a new fire burning in me, to help make this work more aligned, sustainable, and empowering for birth workers everywhere.
I wanted birth workers to get more than a certification and a kick out the door into the realities of small business ownership and the emotional labor of this work.
I wanted to be one of the real women supporting them without gatekeeping or selling another course. I wanted to actually offer my expertise and real services so their businesses could grow beyond the basic doula burnout cycle.

There are so many designers who can build beautiful websites. And honestly, I could build a website for just about any business too. But having someone on the inside, someone with an internalized understanding of the birth world, changes the entire process.

My process is different because I take a doula approach. I listen first. I ask hard questions. I help uncover what's already there.
