Community Roots Midwife Collective
Scope of Work: Brand Assets & Website Design
What we’ve done together…
Community Roots Midwife Collective in Boulder, Colorado is doing incredible work for families across Northern Colorado. This collective of birth workers offers home birth midwifery care, postpartum healing ceremonies, community education, and nonprofit programs that serve minority communities throughout Colorado. Their work also includes deeply grounded rematriation practices that reconnect families to land, lineage, and care that truly centers women and birthing people.
When we first began working together, their website held a lot of valuable information, but what it needed most was connection. Together, we reorganized and rebuilt their site so that visitors could clearly understand the depth of their offerings and the spirit of their work. From the very first meeting, I knew the design needed to reflect what it actually feels like to be in their presence: warm, intentional, and rooted in community.
Beyond the website redesign, they also asked me to help bring their brand assets into alignment across their materials. We created cohesive designs for business cards for the collective, flyers for their local events, and social media graphics that could support their outreach and education work.
This project was a true collaboration with a powerful group of women reshaping what community-centered birth care looks like in Colorado. It was an honor to help build a digital space that reflects the care, creativity, and leadership they offer their community every day.
