Centerd Birth Doula Care
Scope of Work: Branding & Logo Design
“Working with Hanna was an incredible experience and she was worth every penny. I found her account online and immediately fell in love with her work and her portfolio. It was clear that she talented, skilled, and actually understood the heart of birth work and birthworkers. I was so impressed with her body of work and her ability to represent the individual through colors, fonts, and logo. How is that even possible? But she does and she did not disappoint! My branding package is BEAUTIFUL and feels authentic to me as a human and a doula. I LOVE it. I also appreciated her honest feedback on my current website and what she thought would be helpful to change in order to attract aligned clients. ”
When you received your designs, what was your first impression?
I was SO excited!!! I felt weirdly known and seen and thought "all your online promises did not disappoint." I loved all the options and felt confident that if not choosing one outright, I would end up with a logo and branding I loved.
What was your favorite part of working together?
Our face time meeting. I felt really understood and appreciated the time to connect.
What did you love most about working together?
Honestly, I felt like you represented yourself and your work well and authentically online. I did feel like I already knew and liked you before our consult and your demeanor and approach in real life matched what you "sold" online. I loved your honesty, and your willingness to share your opinion based on a marketing perspective of what you thought my current website was telling customers and where you thought I could go.
What we’ve done together…
From our very first conversation, I knew this project was going to be something special. Rachel came to me ready for a brand that finally felt like her. She had built a beautiful doula business serving families in North Carolina but she knew her visual identity and online presence had outgrown the deeper work she was doing. As we talked through her philosophy, I kept coming back to one thing: Rachel doesn't just teach birth education. She teaches advocacy. The real kind. The kind that helps families understand their options, ask better questions, and walk into birth feeling informed, confident, and deeply supported.
The creative direction became this beautiful balance of sacred, approachable, and professional. Rachel was inspired by birth as a rite of passage, the warmth of home birth, timeless artwork, motherhood, and the natural world. Rather than choosing just one direction, we carefully wove those ideas together into a brand that feels earthy, feminine, and deeply connected to the transformation of becoming a parent.
From there, we refined her messaging, elevated her visual identity, and created a cohesive brand that feels unmistakably like Rachel. One that reflects both her calm presence and her passion for helping families feel centered, informed, and empowered throughout their birth experience.
This project is one of my favorite reminders that great branding isn't about following trends. It's about creating something that feels so deeply like you that the right families recognize it the moment they arrive.
